With our Menabrea Maestro series well and truly underway, we are excited to announce Glasgow based designers INSTRMNT as our fourth and latest #MenabreaMaestro.

With a focus on “creating high quality, minimalist goods that are accessible to all”, INSTRMNT have achieved incredible success since launching their business on Kickstarter in 2014.

INSTRMNT 01, the designer’s first product, was inspired by their desire to wear a watch that fitted perfectly with their aesthetic tastes. This led founders Peter Sunderland and Ross Baynham to design and market INSTRMNT 01. Since then, the watch has gone on to achieve worldwide admiration, attracting stockists in a variety of locations from London to LA to Beijing, to name just a few. In addition to this INSTRMNT 01 was recently rated as one of GQ’s 10 best menswear items in the world.

We look forward to welcoming Peter and Ross to Sygn Bar in Edinburgh on the 7th of April 2016 to talk about their craft, their design inspirations, and the processes for creating a watch from scratch.
