As editor of GQ, an author and renowned men’s fashion aficionado, Dylan Jones needs little introduction. We were delighted to welcome him to our Menabrea Maestroclass at The Guardian’s offices in King’s Cross in London.
Since 1999 Dylan has been at the helm of GQ, arguably one of the UK’s most influential magazines. A fashion, style and cultural bible for men, GQ covers informed opinions on food, movies, music, travel and much more. He has also written a number of books about masters of their craft including The Door’s Jim Morrison, fashion designer Paul Smith, Elvis and David Bowie.
To become an expert in his field has taken passion, craftsmanship and of course a lifetime of dedication –the same three factors that are synonymous with the creation of Menabrea Birra.
Dylan talked us through his day to day working at GQ, as well as his wider thought processes and what makes interesting and fresh content for a cutting edge Men’s magazine.
Our evening with Dylan give us a fascinating insight into the craft of a true master in his field, and the mind of an impeccably dressed gentleman!
